FREE Admission to the World Famous:

In recognition of the contribution made by ALL VETERANS, the good folks at KNOTT'S are gracious enough each year to give two free tickets to every Veteran who presents a DD214 for verification of service.

This is an event held annually around "VETERAN'S DAY", which up until this year included the 'MOVING WALL' on display at the Park.
This year, the Wall will be at a separate location in the Los Angeles area.
So, also under consideration is a SIDE TRIP for everyone who would like to visit the 'WALL' at

Last year, a group of us took a little side trip to the SANTA MONICA PIER AND AMUSEMENT PARK for a nighttime outing, which included a late snack at a restaurant on the pier itself.
It was a memorable evening for everyone ( with the exception of Janis, who soon forgot all about it.)
As a reminder for her and also because we had a great time that night, a repeat of this event is also a distinct possibility.

"BUMPER CARS", "FERRIS WHEEL", "ROLLER COASTER"...

Not to mention the MERRY GO ROUND used in the movie "THE STING"

The "Highlight" of the SECOND ANNUAL REUNION IN REDONDO BEACH
will center around a SOCIAL GATHERING, which includes
a sumptuous meal and music.

So, if you discover you ain't doing anything around the week-end of

then we suggest you make plans to fall out and fall-in on that date.

Last time around, the "R in R" was planned as a get-together for folks
in the "MVC" and "Nam Vets" Room.
This time, not wanting to restrict others who would like to attend,
we are extending an invitation to all personnel who wish to participate.

If you want to go to KNOTT'S, it's imperative to bear in mind

the ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT for a copy of your DD214

which must be shown in order to gain admittance
