There you have the :
As you know one of the highlights of the trip was the show put on by one of the guests across the way from our room.
If we could arrange to have the same guy parade again, sans clothes, we could make some more disparaging comments about him and have some more laughs.
Oddly enough, JHenry (Janis) had her binoculars with her.
Talk about being prepared for any eventuality!
Leave it to Janis.
The dinner was wonderful.
Thanks to Kathy (Larry's daughter)!
It was great food and the decorations were perfect.
She did a super job...
Wonder where she learned about planning ahead?
Only kidding, Lar!
Larry and Peg were Angels to act as Chauffeur and Chaufeurette.
It is much appreciated.
I hear they may move away from the airport though...
I know I would.
It's getting so the employees there recognize them by sight now.
But the preponderance of vehicles they use to pick up and deliver people changes from moment to moment and has them somewhat confused.
Actually it had me confused as well, but that isn't difficult.
And trying to get all those people to different events must have been a nightmare for them both.

And my suggestion for next year...
is to meet in ...

I've taken a little time to reflect on my visit, and I just can't stop smiling!
First of all, as the song says, "Hats Off to Larry" (and Peg) for their advance planning and hospitality ...
for their willingness to "cart" folks around ...
for sharing Tom and Harry ...
for sharing ribs and garlic bread ...
and for playing HALF of many of my favorite all-time songs.
And Larry, please give my compliments to that pretty chef, too. :)
Santa Monica was really enjoyable, even though I almost fell over Peachy before I realized who it was.
We had our closest brush with celebrity there;
sighted a guy during dinner who looked like somebody important but we couldn't figure out just WHO, then we enjoyed a chat with Larry's friend Lawrence the Chauffeur, who gave us a few insights into the life of the rich and famous.
Oh, and Larry found out he didn't have enough balls to play Skee-Ball ...
so he let Peg knock his socks off at Air Hockey!

Brad, thanks for the opportunity to meet your lovely mother, and thanks for the biggest bear hug I ever had from somebody who didn't know who I was until five minutes later. :)p
The Knott's Day was Lott's of fun, even watching OTHER people take their lives in their hands on some of those rides ...
and we won't even talk about walking around with wet pants!
Finishing the day with a visit to the Wall was a powerful experience.
This project will continue to improve on itself as time passes!
I agree that we should think about some other sites (Seattle, anybody?) and give Larry and Peg some rest!!!
Last and BEST warm fuzzies go to my roommates -
Karen, Janis and Mr. White -
I couldn't have done it without you.
And, Jan -
good job on the binoculars ...
See You All Next Year!

I enjoyed meeting everyone and won't ever forget the experience.
Thanks so much,
Peach
Great idea to do this.
Thank you for keeping the page together for us.
It was great meeting your Mom by the way.
Pix is correct...
California really knows how to welcome people to their State...LOL
What a floor show we had that first night. ;-)
I swear I am packing my binoculars wherever I go.
Larry and Peg..
what would we do without ya?
(hmmmm thinking hard about that where Lar is concerned ... LOL.. Just kidding)
Thank you for organizing everything again and putting up with all us "hens", LOL and for putting me up Sunday night...
Thank you Tom & Harry for sharing your room with me)
You two always make me feel so welcome and I love ya.
Kathy...
again thank you for that wonderful dinner.

Everything was so much fun ...
with the exception of that damn Roller Coaster.
I'm surprised Peg didn't wet her pants, she was laughing so hard at me.
Larry, some day I will get even with you for that one.
I have never been so scared.

Ed,
Thanks for hosting ...
Great job ...
I would love a copy of the video if you can forward it.
I do have MPEG, if thats what you were asking me
This might be a good time to mention (maybe not, but I'm going to anyway)
Larry and Peg had to pay out quite a large amount of money to have a phone line installed to allow hosting in the MVC Saturday night, So ...
maybe we could take up a little collection, if anyone has any spare change laying around
( I'll catch ya on payday)
It was very hard for me to come home.
You ALL are the BEST.
I really mean that.
You are more like family to me than friends, and I am so glad I have found you all.
{{{{{{{ love u lots}}}}}}
I can't wait to use my free round trip ticket.
PS
Pix
Did you have Mr. White hidden?
Cause if he was a roomie, I sure missed him.
I've decided us girls are all gonna wear those "No Snore Nose Strips" next year.
LOL
Love
Janizzzzzzzzz ;-)
